Guess a riddle: What can travel round the world always staying in the same corner? No ideas? It’s a post stamp.
And it’s true. This small piece of paper can fly round the world including certain information. It can introduce history, customs and traditions of different countries, architectural and landscape plots, games, ethnographic and decorative items, fantasies about vehicles and national kinds of sports.
All these are subject of young artists’ drawings, participants of the International Internet Art Competition “Stamp of friendship”.
The organizers of the art-contest are sure that participation in this event gives the participants an opportunity not only to demonstrate their art talent but also make friends among gifted young people from different parts of the world.
Welcome to V International Internet Art Competition “Stamp of friendship” and be winners!
I found the student artworks submitted to the Stamp of Friendship online gallery competition of exceptional artistic merit. ANN MARIE WALTZAll of the students should take pride in their work! I know that students are often discouraged when their work does not win a prize … or even receive any honorary mention. I would never want any of these art students to feel incompetent. It is very difficult to choose so few winners from 1,920 entries when there are so many wonderful pieces of art. Decisions were made based on such things as which would present better on a stamp format, or possibly which was more unique (fewer similar images submitted). Let me say it once more; the artworks were indeed spectacular!
Sincerely, Dr. Ann Marie Waltz
This is an appreciation photo for Kennard Alvaro Hadinata, Winner in the 2013 Open Internet-competition of art “Stamp of Friendship”-Ukraina (konkurs-marka.ks.ua), on AELI School Mooncake Festival - September 20, 2013. The person who was giving the appreciation is Teacher Enok Rokayah, SS. (AELI Kindergarteen Principal). Thank you very much.
Kurnia Santoso, parent of Kennard Alvaro Hadinata: "I read on your web about the result of Open Internet-Competition of Art "Stamp of Friendship" just now, and I’m really happy to know that my second son is one of the winner. As the parent of Kennard Alvaro Hadinata from Indonesia, I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to participate in your Open Internet-Competition of Art “Stamp of Friendship”-Ukraina. Again we are very honored, Kennard and I hope to be able to make it there in your exhibition (if you hold it annualy?) someday when he is older. Furthermore, I will certainly spread information about your contest to friends and relatives, and hope that we could send many more great artworks from Kennard’s friends also next year. Thank you for your kind attention."
